Masaba is the daughter of famous actress Neena Gupta. She was not keen on fashion during her childhood, but at the age of 19, her career started in fashion designing. She had applied for Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. From then, she became famous for the creativity and artistic collection of her designs. Her style was a collection and mix of traditions, contemporary, with a layer of modern styles into her designs. She was more specialized in ethnic wears for women and by using more materials of silk, cotton, and heavy embroidery design work. In the Year 2019, Netflix also had her show of Masaba Masaba, which explain her complete life before and after fashion designing. The exhibits comprise of her fashion life in the Filmy world.
Rohit Bal
At first, Rohit Bal had started his career with his brother Rajiv Bal in 1986. Still, later after a good approach, he was able to open his first independent collection in the year 1990. Rohit Bal had first opened his collection in Delhi and later on in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. He was also into the business of making jewellery. So his both of the company used to go hand in hand. He uses fabrics such as velvet, brocades, which shows up as the Indian royalty. He also won the ''Designer of the year award" in 2006 and was consistently awarded by the Lakme Grand Finale designer in 2012.
